On Thursday, March 23rd, our team hosted a wonderful Sporting Clays event thanks to our amazing sponsors and teams. With an awesome group of shooters present and a significant day of fundraising to support the mission and work of Taylor's Gift Foundation, the event was a definite success!
Last year we featured a story from Karen Abercrombie on, "How My Sister, Julie De Rossi, Lived Outrageously and Outlived Herself." The story was truly inspiring and talked about the life and love that Karen's sister Julie shared with the rest of world. Within the blog post, Karen discussed how her family found out that one of the recipients of Julie's tissues was NFL Star Carson Palmer, who played for the Cincinnati Bengals at the time.
After learning about this unique bond, Karen and her family developed a special connection to Palmer. This story was recently highlighted by the NFL in the video featured above. Watch this inspiring #OutliveYourself story of Karen and her family remembering the loving nature of their beloved Julie.
This past Friday, September 30th, the 3rd Annual Taylor's Gift Foundation Topgolf Tournament was held in The Colony, Texas. Participants joined forces to compete for the best score in the unique golf game, which connects the classic game of golf with a fun and competitive driving range environment. A fun day was had by all!
What an incredible day filled with immense generosity for not just Taylor's Gift Foundation, but for many North Texas non-profit organizations! North Texas Giving Day 2016 raised a total of $37,349,053 for North Texas non-profits and all of the contributions received will be multiplied through the matching gift program.

In 2010, the community in Coppell, Texas came together to create a beautiful memorial garden in memory of Taylor Storch. Since it's creation, the garden has been a peaceful place where Coppell students and residents come to relax and fellowship.
The 2016 Olympics in Rio kicked off this past Friday and we can't wait to watch all of the inspiring athletes compete for gold! To celebrate the 2016 Olympic Games, Taylor's Gift Foundation will be offering bottles of signed original Taylor Blue polish by our favorite Olympian, Carly Patterson!
The 2nd Annual Outlive Yourself Awards, presented by Methodist Dallas Transplant Institute, is on Thursday, November 3rd in Downtown Dallas at the Belo Mansion.
We received numerous nominations for the 2016 Outlive Yourself Award and recently named all of our nominees. Both Taylor's Gift Foundation and the 2016 Outlive Yourself Awards Committee are excited to announce this year's honorees and look forward to celebrating their achievements this Fall.
