Note: Today is the LAST day to apply for the 2015 Taylor's Gift Scholarship!
Taylor’s Gift Foundation is thrilled to accept personal contributions from employees of Nike North America Merchandising for the 2015 Taylor's Gift Scholarship, honoring high school seniors that are living with an exemplary Outlive Yourself spirit.
In October of 2014, the Nike North America Merchandising team heard Co-Founder, Todd Storch, speak at their corporate retreat where Todd shared the message, mission, and story of Taylor’s Gift. Inspired and motivated by the mission and purpose of the foundation, Nike team members knew they wanted to be part of the efforts of Taylor’s Gift and the Outlive Yourself Scholarship was the perfect fit.
“Our team was inspired by the story of Taylor’s Gift and many chose to make personal donations to support the scholarship. Taylor represents the power and generosity of the human spirit, which are ideals that align well with the culture of employee giving and community involvement at Nike.” - Hans George, Vice President, Nike North America Merchandising

The Taylor’s Gift Scholarship seeks to recognize students that are not only excelling academically, but going above and beyond with an Outlive Yourself spirit - something that falls in line with Nike’s mission to “bring inspiration and innovation to every athlete in the world."
To Outlive Yourself means to give something that lasts, to make something better for generations to come. While it encompasses organ donation, it embodies so much more. To Outlive Yourself is to live with a spirit of giving, living each day with a mindset of going above and beyond and doing something for the good of someone else. We know that the world is full of people who live with this mindset - we've met many along our own journey - and we’re excited to honor special students who are inspiring others by outliving themselves with Nike. Outliving Yourself is more than a single action. It’s an idea that’s worth sharing.
“Nike is honored to present this special scholarship to Taylor’s Gift and we look forward to being on the Scholarship Committee,” stated Hans.
